ACTIVISM TO END GENDER BASED VIOLENCE AGAINST MBORORO WOMEN AND GIRLS
SURA-MAMA is committed to combating gender-based violence affecting Mbororo women and girls by promoting awareness, advocacy, and community engagement. Through sensitization campaigns, dialogue with traditional leaders, and empowerment initiatives, we work to challenge harmful norms, protect the rights of women and girls, and promote a culture of dignity, safety, and equality. Our activism focuses on strengthening community response mechanisms, encouraging reporting, and supporting survivors while fostering inclusive environments where Mbororo women and girls can live free from violence and discrimination.

CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP OF MBORORO YOUTH & WOMEN ON LEADERSHIP AND ONLINE COMMUNICATION
SURA-MAMA organized a capacity building workshop empowering Mbororo youth and women with leadership skills and effective online communication tools to enhance advocacy, community engagement, and meaningful participation in social and civic development initiatives.

GENDER EQUALITY DURING THE 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM
AGAINST VIOLENCE ON WOMEN AND GIRLS.
During the 16 Days of Activism Against Violence on Women and Girls, SURA-MAMA organized a sensitization workshop on legal instruments protecting women’s and girls’ rights. The session educated participants on national and international laws promoting gender equality, strengthened awareness of legal protections, and encouraged communities to uphold and defend the rights of women and girls.
